In addition to working on our individual themes, we repeatedly worked on group projects. We indulged in colors.
In the evening, all participants were invited to sing together. With incredible energy, Andrea Heidekorn rehearsed several pieces that we presented at the final ceremony.

Monotype classes with Uli Stommel in Hennef - 2009
It was marvelous to work with copperplate etching ink on glass. Thanks to Uli, I experienced this medium for the first time.
In my studio, I continued to work with this medium creating the pictures for my project "Geheime Baumbotschaften" (Secret Tree Messages).

I depicted the oceans and land masses or continents on nine mixed-media canvases (using oil, acrylic, rust, patina, oxidants etc.).
Our planet's water is a very precious commodity – the elixir of life. In the beginning, the oceans move freely around earth's continents. As a result of climate change, pollution and money grubbing, water declines in quality and quantity, leading to water shortage and contamination. In the beginning, there are the oceans – in the end "one" blood-red drop.
